Upfront Electrical

Based in Des Moines, IA, Upfront Electrical helps homeowners and small businesses handle everyday and complex electrical needs. Projects range from simple updates to multi-room remodels, with planning that respects schedules and existing finishes. Whether diagnosing flickers or tripped breakers, our technicians handle Electrical Troubleshooting with careful testing, clear findings, and practical next steps. Larger repairs, like whole home rewires, are coordinated in phases to manage downtime and keep living areas usable. For worn hardware and inconsistent outlets, many homes benefit from timely Plug and Switch Replacement that restores safe operation and a cleaner look across rooms.

Service calls are set up with clear arrival windows, and cleanup is included as part of the visit. When improving interiors or outdoor spaces, builders and owners often request Lighting Installation & Replacement to match layout changes, energy goals, and code requirements. Fixture choices, controls, and placement are reviewed so the final result fits the way each space is used. Upgrades during additions may also include Electrical Panel Installation for added circuits, capacity planning, and organized labeling that supports future projects. Permitting and inspections are coordinated as needed to align with local standards and project timelines. As a neighborhood Electrician for renovation and repair work, the crew can also set up EV chargers, coordinate generator hookups, and plan trenching for new feeds to detached structures.

Communication stays straightforward from the first walk-through to final checks, with notes on maintenance and options for future improvements. Homeowners and small business managers in the area use these services for kitchens, basements, detached garages, and light commercial spaces. The goal is a safe, code-compliant installation supported by steady coordination with property owners and other contractors.
