World Trade Opportunity (WTO) – Terms and Conditions
Last updated: June 2026

Welcome to World Trade Opportunity (WTO), a global business directory and marketing ecosystem for companies, organizations, educational institutions, freelancers, and professional service providers.

By accessing or using WTO, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Introduction

WTO is a transparent global platform designed to enable business visibility, digital marketing exposure, and structured business listings.

The platform provides both free and paid services, including business profiles, content publishing, and SEO-enabled distribution tools.

WTO does not operate as a broker, escrow service, or transaction intermediary between users.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

To create an account or use WTO services, you must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements.

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information when creating an account.

WTO reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false, misleading, or incomplete information.

3. Business Profiles

Each account or profile may represent only one legal entity, brand, or organization unless explicitly permitted under a plan designed for multi-brand management (e.g., Agency-level subscriptions).

Reselling, renting, or sharing accounts with third parties is strictly prohibited without prior written approval from WTO.

Agency or multi-client usage is only permitted under designated plans that explicitly allow such functionality.

 4. Subscription Plans and Billing

All prices are displayed in USD and are final to the end user unless otherwise stated.

Where required by law or by the payment provider (including Stripe), applicable taxes may be added and will be clearly displayed before checkout.

Subscriptions are automatically renewed unless cancelled prior to the renewal date.

Users may cancel subscriptions at any time through their account dashboard. Paid features remain active until the end of the billing cycle.

No refunds are issued for partially used billing periods unless required by applicable law or in cases of verified technical error.

Failure to process payment may result in automatic downgrade to the free plan.

5. Content and Publishing Rules

Users are responsible for all content they publish on WTO, including text, images, logos, links, and metadata.

By publishing content, users confirm they hold all necessary rights and permissions to do so.

WTO reserves the right to:

  • review, approve, reject, or remove content;
  • edit formatting, tags, categories, metadata, and link attributes;
  • enforce compliance with platform standards.

AI-generated or AI-assisted content is permitted, provided it is not deceptive, illegal, or in violation of these Terms.

6. Links and SEO Integrity Policy

Users may include hyperlinks within published content depending on their subscription plan.

WTO does not guarantee SEO performance, ranking improvements, traffic increases, or commercial outcomes.

WTO reserves the right to:

  • convert Do-Follow links into No-Follow links;
  • remove or modify links;
  • restrict linking privileges,
  • if links are considered unsafe, spammy, irrelevant, malicious, or harmful to platform integrity or users.

7. Intellectual Property

Users retain ownership of their content.

By publishing on WTO, users grant WTO a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote their content within the platform for operational and marketing purposes.

Users are fully responsible for ensuring that uploaded content does not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights.

8. Prohibited Activities

Users agree not to use WTO for:

  • illegal activities or promotion of illegal goods/services;
  • hate speech, discrimination, or incitement to violence;
  • pornography or sexual services;
  • illegal drugs or controlled substances;
  • fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading practices;
  • malware, phishing, or cybercrime activities;
  • unauthorized or harmful SEO manipulation.

WTO reserves the right to remove content and suspend accounts at its sole discretion.

9. Specialized Industries (Crypto, iGaming & Gambling)

Certain industries such as cryptocurrency, gambling, and iGaming are subject to separate listing conditions and additional fees.

These listings may be placed in restricted categories and may not appear in primary directory placements.

WTO reserves the right to approve, reject, or remove such listings at any time for compliance or reputational reasons.

10. Termination and Suspension

WTO may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, misuse of the platform, or behavior deemed harmful to platform integrity.

Upon termination:

  • user access is revoked;
  • published articles remain on the platform;
  • all outgoing links are converted to No-Follow;

WTO may remove or limit visibility of content at its discretion.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

WTO is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

WTO does not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or specific business, SEO, or marketing outcomes.

All services are used at the user’s own risk.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WTO shall not be liable for:

  • indirect or consequential damages;
  • loss of revenue, profits, or business opportunities;
  • data loss or service interruptions;
  • actions of third parties or users;
  • SEO or ranking changes caused by external platforms.

WTO’s total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by the user to WTO in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Changes to Services and Terms

WTO may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform at any time.

Price changes apply only to future billing cycles and do not affect active paid periods.

Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bulgaria.

15. Privacy and Data Protection

WTO processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

A separate Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy govern the collection, storage, and processing of user data.
