Flying Cow Natural Skincare Announces Labour Day Weekend Sale Across Four Retail Locations and Online
Share article
Flying Cow Natural Skincare, a family owned tallow skincare company based in Midland, Texas, will hold a Labor Day weekend sale from Friday, September 4 through Monday, September 7, with 20 percent off its tallow balms and serums in store and online.
The sale covers the two categories the company is best known for. Its whipped tallow balms include Restore, Lavender, Wild Orange, Coffee, Baby Balm, and the unscented option made without essential oils. The serum line includes Bloom Luxury Serum, Citrus Serum, Magnolia Night Serum, and Blemish Serum. Every product is whipped by hand in small batches from a base of grass fed tallow and a small amount of unprocessed coconut oil for texture, with essential oils selected for scent rather than any therapeutic purpose. Because each batch is made by hand, the company notes that consistency and scent can vary slightly from jar to jar.
Flying Cow was founded in 2017 by Britney and Joshua Arceneaux, who began making tallow based skincare in their own kitchen before the practice grew into a full business. What started as a small online shop filling a few jars a week has since become four retail storefronts. The company operates locations in Midland, Lubbock, and Fredericksburg, Texas, along with a Tennessee store at 418 Main Street in Franklin, directly across from the Franklin Theatre, which is open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 6pm.
The Franklin store also houses A Place for the Maker, an artisan collective of more than twenty makers whose work the Arceneaux family purchases outright rather than holding on consignment. Each maker has their own sign in the store with a QR code so shoppers can follow that maker's work after they leave.
Shoppers can visit any of the four stores during the sale weekend or shop the full line at flyingcowtallow.com.
