Get Social is a social media marketing company whose goal is to help small to medium-sized businesses create, monitor and maintain their social media accounts. Many business owners do not have the time or resources to dedicate themselves or a staff member to social media. We are here to solve that problem. Get Social was founded by Meredith Cernuda who saw a growing need for social media marketing services in her hometown of Tampa, Florida. After overseeing the website and social media accounts for a small non-profit organization, she became aware of the time commitment and skills needed to create and maintain good and interesting content. This awareness prompted her to pursue a graduate certificate in Social Media from the College of Journalism at the University of Florida. Prior to founding Get Social, Meredith earned her bachelor's degree in Communications from Tulane University in the early 90's and proceeded to work in community relations and public relations until taking a break to raise her two - now t
