At its heart, Kick the Buddy is an interactive sandbox designed for cathartic destruction. You're presented with a perpetually cheerful ragdoll named Buddy (or a similar character, depending on the version you play), who is remarkably resilient and remarkably uncomplaining, no matter what you throw at him.
