Avijit Ghosh Heavy Engineering Corporation

Avijit Ghosh, with over 37 years in mining, capital goods, and project management, is an alumnus of ISM Dhanbad and IIM Ahmedabad. He has led as CMD of HEC, Director (Mining) at Hindustan Copper, and AVP at Jindal Steel & Power. At HEC, he drove performance revival through partnerships, restructuring, and technology upgrades. At Hindustan Copper, he expanded capacity from 3.2 to 12.4 MTPA. Honored with the Dr. J. Coggin Brown Gold Medal and lifetime achievement awards, he excels in mine planning, land acquisition, equipment, and stakeholder management.
