Kreative Lighting Studio is owned by Kristina Barnes, who is also the company’s principal lighting designer. Kristina has a love of all things lighting, and brings her outstanding design skills, passion for innovation, excellent commercial sense and infectious personality into every project she works on. Before beginning her own business, Kristina spent many years enjoying the bright lights and fast-pace of London and Edinburgh. In these two major cities, she worked for a number of major lighting design practices. In these roles, Kristina delivered numerous award-winning lighting projects, and spent many a happy evening at ceremonies to celebrate these successes. Following this high-flying start to her career, Kristina took the plunge and started her own business KLS Lighting Design in 2007. This gave her the opportunity to be more creative, autonomous and bring more of her personality to her work.
