Council of International Students and Organizations

The Council of International Students and Organizations (COISO) is a 501(c)(3) student organization that represents all international students and cultural organizations at the University of Miami. Established in 1967 by a group of individuals who wished to represent all international and related organizations while promoting global citizenship, COISO aims to integrate international students into campus life while also spreading cultural awareness through a number of unique programs. Successor of the “International Club” founded in 1957, COISO is an organization open to people from all nationalities and cultural backgrounds that provides a safe space for students because it believes that our true nationality is Human.
