Macchina Speciale was created by Jeff Nowak after he struggled to find specialists for his imported Italian cars. He realized the primary way of finding specialty mechanics for classic Italian cars was through word of mouth at auto shows as the trade was fading out. For this reason, he started Macchina Speciale to help the specialty shops and brokers reach their audience and attract more projects.
