Since I can remember, I have always loved to hear people's stories. Where they came from, what their interests were, what they feared, what they cherished. With just a few questions and an obvious inquisitive mind, people shared so much of themselves with me. They trusted me and knew I genuinely cared about them. Not surprisingly, I earned a college degree in journalism. However, I never became a journalist. Instead, I became a professional salesperson. I did choose media as my sales platform, selling advertising in publications or on television programs where journalists'​ stories had appeared. With advertising sales, I continued my love of storytelling. I worked with hundreds of businesses over my career, helping them to tell their best story to an audience of prospective customers with hopes they would be convinced to buy their products or services.
