Anyone figured out bidding for Dating Push Ads?

Share article

Has anyone here actually cracked the code on bidding for Dating Push Ads? I’ve been testing them for a while, and I’m still not sure if I’m bidding too high, too low, or just plain wrong.

When I first started, I assumed higher bids would automatically bring better traffic. That sounded logical, right? But I quickly realized that throwing more money at the campaign didn’t always mean better conversions. Some days I’d get clicks but no sign-ups. Other days I’d lower the bid slightly and suddenly the cost per conversion looked way healthier.

The hardest part for me was figuring out where the “sweet spot” actually is. Dating offers can be unpredictable. One audience responds really well, another barely reacts. I noticed that instead of starting with aggressive bids, easing in with mid-range bids and watching the data closely worked better. I’d let the campaign run long enough to gather real numbers before making any big changes.

Another thing I learned is not to adjust bids too often. In the beginning, I kept tweaking every few hours. That just made it harder to understand what was really working. Once I started making slower, more intentional changes, the patterns became clearer.

I also began separating campaigns by device and location. It sounds simple, but it made a huge difference in controlling costs. Some segments deserved a higher bid, while others clearly didn’t.

I’m still testing, but I’d say patience and small adjustments beat big jumps every time. Curious to hear what others are doing with their bidding strategy for dating push traffic.
